First Tee – Tampa Bay has a select number of partial college scholarships available each year for high school seniors. These scholarships usually range between $500 – $5,000 depending on the award. All scholarships are paid directly to the school and are one-time awards unless otherwise indicated. All candidates must fill out the on-line application which will be reviewed by First Tee – Tampa Bay scholarship committee. Applications are available by February 1 each year and the deadline is March 15.

Eligibility Requirements

(Committee retains the right to alter these based on circumstances)

• Student must be a High School Senior.
• Student must have been a member of First Tee – Tampa Bay for at least two years.
• Student must be planning on attending secondary education following graduation (College or Trade School).
• Completed application must be in by the deadline (March 15th) to be considered.

Student must fill out the application all at once, so it is recommended that they complete the essays in advance and paste them in the application.

Selection

Following the closing date of March 15th, the Scholarship Committee will review the above items and choose scholarship winners. These participants will be officially announced by April 30. All decisions of the scholarship committee are final.

Important Notes

Please keep in mind that EVERY element of the application will be read thoroughly and evaluated by the judging committee so the selection of participants is as fair and un-biased as possible. All of the documents and information provided will be stringently reviewed.
