A member of First Tee – Tampa Bay staff has created a paper golf game, called PencilGolf, that we are offering to everyone to utilize FREE OF CHARGE. The game is fun for kids of all ages and also naturally helps teach the rules and etiquette of the game. Someone would just have to print it off themselves (only 7 pages, double sided, color preferred, but black & white is OK). It can be used as a great rainy-day activity or anytime kids are sitting around and looking for something fun to do. In order to utilize PencilGolf, we recommend that you do the following:

  1. You can watch the “How To Play” 3-minute video by clicking HERE.
  2. Download the PDF of the game itself by clicking HERE.
  3. Print copies of the game, double-sided, in color (ideal) or black & white. Each game will take 7 pieces of standard 8.5” x 11” copy/printer paper, double sided. For youth groups, make enough for ½ of your kids because 2 players can play together on one game.
  4. Each player would need a sharp pencil or a fine tip pen to play or they can share one.
  5. Play the game. Should roughly take about 20-30 minutes to play all 18 holes. You don’t have to play the entire game all at once – you can break it up to play a few holes at a time depending on your schedule.

We would love to get your feedback on the game along with pictures and/or videos of your kids playing (if cleared for photography). You can send feedback/pictures/videos to [email protected]. Have fun!
