Fundraiser Overview:

First Tee – Tampa Bay has started a 9-hole tournament series/fundraiser on the Par-3 Short Course at Rogers Park for local companies. This is a great way for you and your team to have a fun bonding event while networking and competing against other companies. Of course, ultimately, we will all be supporting the kids of First Tee – Tampa Bay.

Tournament Format: 9-holes of Par-3 golf. All participants and spectators will walk unless there is a medical or other condition. Playing format is Team Scramble. Each organization will sponsor a 4-person team. Up to 6 spectators may walk along with their company’s group during the competition.

Attire: Participants and spectators should wear comfortable clothes and closed-toe shoes for walking and/or swinging a golf club. No high heels, sandals, flip flops, or restrictive shoes/clothing.

Cost: 

  • Title Sponsor: $10,000
    • Includes one team entry of 4 players and 6 spectators
    • Naming of event
    • Announcement in individual news releases
    • Opportunity to address the outing participants (if desired)
    • Signage on course during event
    • Name and logo listed on First Tee website
    • Snacks & beverages, cocktails, and heavy appetizers
    • $9,500 is tax deductible.
  • Individual Team: $5,000
    • Includes one team entry of 4 players and 6 spectators
    • Snacks & beverages, cocktails, and heavy appetizers.
    • $4,500 is tax deductible.

Equipment: First Tee – Tampa Bay will provide golf equipment if necessary. Players are welcome to use their own golf clubs if they have them. All holes are between 60-120 yards.

Itinerary:

3:00 pm –          Snacks & beverages, cocktails, games/contests, and networking

4:00 pm –          Review of all tournament rules/contests

4:15 pm –          Shotgun start on golf course. Spectators follow their group.

5:45 pm –          Awards ceremony & heavy appetizers

Other: There will be contests on the course, prizes for top 3 teams, and other surprises. Prizes will include entire team, players AND spectators. The winning team will be invited to participate in a Championship event against other Corporate Cup tournament winners in April 2026. Winners of the Championship event will receive free tickets to our April Dinner Gala and recognition at the event!
